Senantes is a French municipality with 582 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the Eure-et-Loir in the region Center-Val de Loire ; it belongs to the Arrondissement Dreux and is part of the canton Épernon (until 2015: canton Nogent-le-Roi ).
In addition to Senantes , the municipality also includes Dancourt , Chenicourt and Le Coudray .

Senantes is about 22 kilometers north-northwest of Chartres on the Maltorne river . Senantes is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Faverolles in the north, Mittainville in the east, Saint-Lucien in the south-east, Villiers-le-Morhier in the south and Coulombs in the west and south-west.
