Germainville is a French municipality with 290 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the Eure-et-Loir in the region Center-Val de Loire ; it belongs to the Arrondissement Dreux and the canton Anet (until 2015: canton Dreux-Est ).

Germainville is about 33 kilometers north of Chartres and about 64 kilometers west-southwest of Paris . Germainville is surrounded by the neighboring communities Cherisy in the north and northwest, Serville in the north, Broué in the east, La Chapelle-Forainvilliers in the south, Mézières-en-Drouais in the southwest and Sainte-Gemme-Moronval in the west.
The National Route 12 runs through the north of the municipality .
