Chaudon is a French commune with 1,685 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Eure-et-Loir in the region Center-Val de Loire ; it belongs to the Arrondissement Dreux and the canton Dreux-2 (until 2015: canton Nogent-le-Roi ).

geography

Chaudon is located about eight kilometers southeast of Dreux on the Eure , which also forms the northeastern municipal boundary. Chaudon is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Croisilles in the north, Bréchamps in the east and north-east, Nogent-le-Roi in the east and south-east, Ormoy in the south and Villemeux-sur-Eure in the west.
