Mittainville is a French municipality with 607 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Yvelines in the region Ile-de-France . It belongs to the arrondissement of Rambouillet and the canton of Rambouillet . The inhabitants are called Mittainvillois .
geography
Mittainville is located about 55 kilometers west-southwest of Paris and about 13 kilometers west-northwest of Rambouillet on the Maltorne river . Mittainville is surrounded by the neighboring communities of La Boissière-École in the north, Hermeray in the east and south-east, Saint-Lucien in the south, Senantes in the west and south-west and Faverolles in the west and north-west.
