Bullion is a French commune with 1,914 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Yvelines in the region Ile-de-France . It belongs to the arrondissement of Rambouillet and the canton of Rambouillet (until 2015: canton of Saint-Arnoult-en-Yvelines ). The inhabitants are called Bullionais .
geography
Bullion is located about 36 kilometers southwest of Paris and 13 kilometers east-southeast of Rambouillet in the forest of Rambouillet . The municipality is part of the Haute Vallée de Chevreuse Regional Nature Park . Bullion is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Cernay-la-Ville in the north and northwest, Choisel in the north, Pecquese in the northeast, Bonnelles in the east, Rochefort-en-Yvelines in the south, Saint-Arnoult-en-Yvelines in the southwest, Clairefontaine-en- Yvelines to the west and La Celles-les-Bordes to the west.
