Bazoches-sur-Guyonne is a French municipality with 621 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Yvelines in the region Ile-de-France . It belongs to the arrondissement of Rambouillet and the canton of Aubergenville (until 2015: canton of Montfort-l'Amaury ). The inhabitants are called Bazochéens .
geography
Bazoches-sur-Guyonne is located about 36 kilometers west-southwest of Paris on the Guyonne , a tributary of the Mauldre . The municipality is part of the Haute Vallée de Chevreuse Regional Nature Park . Bazoches-sur-Guyonne is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Mareil-le-Guyon and Neauphle-le-Vieux in the north, Le Tremblay-sur-Mauldre in the east, Saint-Rémy-l'Honoré in the southeast, Les Mesnuls in the south, Montfort- l'Amaury in the west and Méré in the northwest.
