The municipality is part of the Haute Vallée de Chevreuse Regional Nature Park . Districts of Bonnelles are Bissy, les Clos, les Petits Clos and Vilvert (partially). Neighboring municipalities of Bonnelles are Pecqueuse in the north, Limours in the northeast, Forges-les-Bains in the east, Angervilliers in the southeast, Longvilliers in the south, Rochefort-en-Yvelines in the southwest and Bullion in the west.
