Saint-Arnoult-en-Yvelines is a French municipality with 6001 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Yvelines in the region Ile-de-France about 14 kilometers southeast of Rambouillet and 65 kilometers from Paris . It is located on the Rémarde River . It belongs to the arrondissement of Rambouillet .

history

The name of the parish comes from St. Arnoul . He was Bishop of Tours in the 6th century.

A document from the 17th century shows the place under the rule of the de Rohan-Rochefort family until the French Revolution .
