Vieille-Église-en-Yvelines is a French municipality with 682 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Yvelines in the region Ile-de-France . It belongs to the arrondissement of Rambouillet and the canton of Rambouillet . The inhabitants are called Abattiens .
geography
Vieille-Église-en-Yvelines is located about 40 kilometers west-southwest of Paris and about four kilometers northeast of the city center of Rambouillet . The municipality is part of the Haute Vallée de Chevreuse Regional Nature Park . Vieille-Église-en-Yvelines is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Le Perray-en-Yvelines in the north and north-west, Auffargis in the north and east, La Celle-les-Bordes in the south-east, Clairefontaine-en-Yvelines in the south and south-east and Rambouillet in the South and west.
