Gambaiseuil is a French commune with a population of 62 (as at 1st January 2017) in the department of Yvelines in the region Ile-de-France . It belongs to the arrondissement of Rambouillet and the canton of Rambouillet . The inhabitants are called Gabisans .
geography
Gambaiseuil is located about 46 kilometers west-southwest of Paris and about 14 kilometers north-northwest of Rambouillet . The municipality is part of the Haute Vallée de Chevreuse Regional Nature Park . Gambaiseuil is surrounded by the neighboring communities Gambais in the north and northwest, Grosrouvre in the northeast, Saint-Léger-en-Yvelines in the south and east, Condé-sur-Vesgre in the southwest and Bourdonné in the west.
