Boinville-le-Gaillard is a French municipality with 608 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Yvelines in the region Ile-de-France . It belongs to the arrondissement of Rambouillet and the canton of Rambouillet (until 2015: canton of Saint-Arnoult-en-Yvelines ). The inhabitants are called Boinvillois .
geography
Boinville-le-Gaillard is about 53 kilometers southwest of Paris and about 16 kilometers south-southeast of Rambouillet . Boinville-le-Gaillard is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Ablis in the north, Saint-Martin-de-Bréthencourt in the east and north-east, Allainville in the south and south-east, Paray-Douaville in the south and Orsonville in the west and south-west.
Route nationale 191 runs along the western edge of the municipality .
