Saint-Germain-de-la- Grange is a French commune with 1,869 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Yvelines in the region Ile-de-France . It belongs to the arrondissement of Rambouillet and the canton of Aubergenville (until 2015: canton of Montfort-l'Amaury ). The inhabitants are called Saint-Germanois .
geography
Saint-Germain-de-la-Grange is located about 20 kilometers west of Versailles on the Ru Maldroit stream . Saint-Germain-de-la-Grange is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Thiverval-Grignon in the north and east, Plaisir in the south-east, Neauphle-le-Château in the south, Villiers-Saint-Frédéric in the south and south-west and Beynes in the west.
