Allainville (also: Allainville-aux-Bois ) is a French municipality with 306 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Yvelines in the region Ile-de-France . It belongs to the arrondissement of Rambouillet and the canton of Rambouillet (until 2015: canton of Saint-Arnoult-en-Yvelines ). The inhabitants are called Allainvillois .
geography
Allainville is the southernmost municipality in the Yvelines department. It is located about 40 kilometers southwest of Paris and about 18 kilometers south-southeast of Rambouillet . Allainville is surrounded by the neighboring communities Boinville-le-Gaillard in the north and north-west, Saint-Martin-de-Bréthencourt in the north, Corbreuse in the north-east, Chatignonville in the east, Garancières-en-Beauce in the south and south-east, Sainville in the south and south-west as well Paray-Douaville to the west.
The A10 autoroute and the national route 191 run through the municipality .
