The Communauté d'agglomération Rambouillet Territoires is a French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté d'agglomération in the department of Yvelines in the region Ile-de-France . It was founded on December 27, 2016 and comprises 36 parishes. The administrative center is in Rambouillet .

Historical development

The community association was created with effect from January 1, 2017 through the merger of the predecessor organizations

• Communauté d'agglomération Rambouillet Territoires (before 2017) ,
• Communauté de communes des Étangs and
• Communauté de communes Contrée d'Ablis-Porte d'Yvelines .

Despite having the same name as the previous organization, it is a start-up with a different legal personality.
