The Communauté urbaine Grand Paris Seine et Oise is a French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté urbaine in the department of Yvelines in the region Ile-de-France . The community association was founded with effect from January 1, 2016 and comprises 73 communities. The administrative headquarters are located in Aubergenville .

Historical development

The community association was created with effect from January 1, 2016 from the merger of the predecessor organizations

• Communauté d'agglomération des Deux Rives de la Seine,
• Communauté d'agglomération de Mantes-en-Yvelines,
• Communauté d'agglomération Poissy Achères Conflans Sainte-Honorine,
• Seine et Vexin Com Agglo,
• Communauté de communes Coteaux du Vexin and
• Communauté de communes Seine Mauldre.
