Gaillon-sur-Montcient is a French municipality with 677 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Yvelines in the region Ile-de-France . The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Mantes-la-Jolie and the canton of Les Mureaux (until 2015: canton of Meulan-en-Yvelines ). The inhabitants are called Gaillonais .

Gaillon-sur-Montcient is surrounded by the neighboring communities Seraincourt in the north and west, Longuesse in the north and northeast, Condécourt in the east and northeast, Tessancourt-sur-Aubette in the east, Meulan in the southeast and Hardricourt in the south and southwest.
