Mulcent is a commune in the French department of Yvelines in the Ile-de-France . It belongs to the canton of Bonnières-sur-Seine (until 2015 canton of Houdan ) in the arrondissement of Mantes-la-Jolie . It is bordered by Montchauvet to the northwest , Courgent to the north, Septeuil to the east, Prunay-le-Temple to the southeast, Orvilliers to the south and Civry-la-Forêt to the southwest . The residents call themselves Mulcentois or Mulcentoises.
