Bonnières-sur-Seine is a French municipality with 4612 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Yvelines in the region Ile-de-France . It belongs to the arrondissement of Mantes-la-Jolie and is the capital of the canton of Bonnières-sur-Seine . The inhabitants are called Bonniérois .

geography

Bonnières-sur-Seine is located on the Seine about 30 kilometers northwest of Paris . Bonnières-sur-Seine is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Bennecourt in the north, Freneuse in the north-east, Rolleboise in the east, Rosny-sur-Seine in the south and south-east, La Villeneuve-en-Chevre in the south-west and west and Notre-Dame-de-la -Mer in the northwest.

The Autoroute A13 (with the branch A13a) and the former Route nationale 13 lead through the municipality . The place has a train station on the Paris – Le Havre railway line .

The Singer company manufactured sewing machines here from 1934. The factory was closed in 1989. The Italian Riva Group operates a steel mill here.
