Moisson Town Hall

Moisson is a French municipality with 977 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Yvelines in the region Ile-de-France . It belongs to the arrondissement of Mantes-la-Jolie and the canton of Bonnières-sur-Seine . Moisson lies on a loop of the Seine about halfway between Paris and Rouen . The Lebaudy Frères company built airships in the municipality at the beginning of the 20th century. In 1947 the 6th World Scout Jamboree was held here. The Musée de la ballonnière et du Jamboree de 1947 deals with these events.
