Courgent is a commune in the French department of Yvelines in the region Ile-de-France . It belongs to the canton of Bonnières-sur-Seine (until 2015 canton of Houdan ) in the arrondissement of Mantes-la-Jolie . It borders Boinvilliers to the north, Septeuil to the east, Mulcent to the south and Montchauvet to the west . The Vaucouleurs crosses the municipality mark . The residents call themselves Courgentais or Courgentaises.
