Lainville-en-Vexin is a French municipality with 788 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Yvelines in the region Ile-de-France . It belongs to the arrondissement of Mantes-la-Jolie and the canton of Limay . The inhabitants call themselves Lainvillois .
geography
Lainville-en-Vexin is about 44 kilometers west-northwest of Paris . Lainville-en-Vexin is surrounded by the neighboring parishes of Arthies in the north and northwest, Wy-dit-Joli-Village in the north, Avernes in the northeast, Frémainville in the east, Jambville in the southeast, Montalet-le-Bois and Brueil-en-Vexin in the South, Sailly to the west and south-west, and Aincourt to the west and north-west.
