Bennecourt is a French commune with 1,897 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the Yvelines department in the region Ile-de-France . It belongs to the arrondissement of Mantes-la-Jolie and the canton of Bonnières-sur-Seine . The inhabitants call themselves Bennecourtois .
geography
Bennecourt is located about 50 kilometers west-northwest of Paris on the Seine . Bennecourt is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Limetz-Villez in the north, Gommecourt in the north and northeast, Freneuse in the east, Bonnières-sur-Seine in the south and Notre-Dame-de-la-Mer (with Jeufosse and Port-Villez) in the west.
