Limetz-Villez is a French commune with 1,942 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Yvelines in the region Ile-de-France . It belongs to the arrondissement of Rambouillet and the canton of Bonnières-sur-Seine . The inhabitants are called Carcaïens .
geography
Limetz-Villez is located about 62 kilometers west-northwest of Paris on the Seine on the border with the Eure department . The Epte , which flows into the Seine here, limits the municipality to the north. Limetz-Villez is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Giverny in the north, Sainte-Geneviève-lès-Gasny in the northeast, Gommecourt in the east and northeast, Bennecourt in the south and southeast and Notre-Dame-de-la-Mer in the south and west.
