Porcheville is a French commune with 3,203 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Yvelines in the region Ile-de-France . It belongs to the arrondissement of Mantes-la-Jolie and the canton of Limay . The inhabitants call themselves Porchevillois .
geography
Porcheville is located about 47 kilometers west of Paris on the right bank of the Seine . Porcheville is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Guitrancourt in the north, Issou in the east and northeast, Mézières-sur-Seine in the south and southeast, Guerville in the southwest, Aubergenville in the south and Gargenville in the west.
