Soindres is a commune in the French department of Yvelines in the Ile-de-France . It belongs to the canton of Bonnières-sur-Seine (until 2015 the canton of Guerville ) in the arrondissement of Mantes-la-Jolie . It borders on Fontenay-Mauvoisin to the north-west, Buchelay (point of contact) to the north, Magnanville to the north-east, Auffreville-Brasseuil to the east, Vert to the south, Flacourt to the south and Favrieux to the south-west . The residents call themselves Soindrais.

The former Route nationale 828 led via Soindres.
