Juziers is a French municipality with 3820 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Yvelines in the region Ile-de-France . It belongs to the arrondissement of Mantes-la-Jolie and is part of the canton of Limay . The inhabitants call themselves Juziérois .
geography
Juziers is located about 42 kilometers west of Paris on the right bank of the Seine . In the Seine lies the wooded section of a river island, the so-called Île de Juziers . Part of the municipality belongs to the Vexin français Regional Nature Park . Juziers is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Brueil-en-Vexin in the north and north-west, Oinville-sur-Montcient in the north and north-east, Mézy-sur-Seine in the east, Flins-sur-Seine in the south-east, Aubergenville in the south and Gargenville in the west.
Juziers station is on the Paris-Saint-Lazare-Mantes railway line. The former Route nationale 190 runs through the municipality .
