Jouy-Mauvoisin is a French municipality with 555 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Yvelines in the region Ile-de-France . It belongs to the arrondissement of Rambouillet and the canton of Bonnières-sur-Seine . The inhabitants are called Joyaciens .

Jouy-Mauvoisin is located about 60 kilometers west of Versailles and covers an area of 282 hectares. Neighboring communities are:
