Bazainville City Hall

Bazainville is a French commune with 1,454 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Yvelines in the region Ile-de-France . It belongs to the arrondissement of Mantes-la-Jolie and the canton of Bonnières-sur-Seine (until 2015: canton of Houdan ). The inhabitants are called Bazainvillois .

geography

Bazainville is about 50 kilometers west-southwest of Paris . Bazainville is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Tacoignières in the north, Orgerus in the east and northeast, Millemont in the east, Gambais in the south, Maulette in the west and southwest and Richebourg in the northwest.

The Route nationale 12 runs along the southern municipal boundary.
