The Studere legal journal of the University of Potsdam (spelling: * studere) is a legal journal based on the tradition of American law reviews , which has been published every semester since 2008 and is organized by students at the University of Potsdam .
history
The studere was founded in 2008 by students of jurisprudence founded the University of Potsdam. Since then, the legal journal has appeared twice a year. In addition, a special edition for freshmen is published at irregular intervals.
Goal setting
The aim is to “give both specialist authors and students the opportunity to contribute to teaching and legal discourse by publishing their own academic articles”. Students in particular should be given the opportunity to publish in a legal academic journal .
content
The Studere is aimed at students of law, but is not a classic training magazine. In addition to outstanding written exams or term papers, specialist articles are published. In addition, propaedeutic essays by university lecturers are published. The articles appear primarily in German, but some also in English or French.

The magazine is run by the non-profit association * studere e. V. The Studere editorial team consists of law students from the University of Potsdam. Studere is supported by a scientific advisory board made up of professors from the university in matters of content .
