Musical Prophet: The Expanded 1963 New York Studio Sessions Resonance Records 2018 1963 In addition to the two previously released Dolphy albums Conversations (FM Records, 1963) and Iron Man (Douglas, 1968), the edition contains previously unreleased studio material from this session. The LP edition also contains a 15-minute piece with Dolphy as well as Bob James , Ron Brooks , Robert Pozar and David Schwartz from WUOM Studios in Ann Arbor on March 2, 1964.

Chico Hamilton The Original Ellington Suite Pacific Jazz Records 2000 1958 Instead of this recording with the newly formed Hamilton quintet, a recording with the original Hamilton quintet plus Paul Horn was released, i.e. with Buddy Collette , Fred Katz and Jim Hall instead of Dolphy, Nat Gershman and John Pisano .
