Resonance Records

Resonance Records is an American jazz - independent label , which in 2008 Los Angeles was founded by the Rising Jazz Stars Foundation (RJSF). With its label Resonance, the non-profit organization RJSF is dedicated to both preserving the jazz heritage and promoting talented young people. The label's logo is the graphic of a gemstone setting. President of RJSF and Resonance Records is George Klabin, who ran a large jazz-oriented recording studio in New York City until 1981 and founded RJSF in Los Angeles in 2005. Vice President is Zev Feldman .

The main musicians the label relocates include Wes Montgomery ( Echoes of Indiana Avenue ), Charles Lloyd , John Coltrane , Scott LaFaro ( Pieces of Jade ), Tommy Flanagan and Jaki Byard ( The Magic of 2 ), Eric Dolphy ( Musical Prophet: The Expanded 1963 New York Studio Sessions ), Dado Moroni , Claudio Roditi , Christian Howes , Freddie Hubbard , Gene Harris ( Groovin 'Hard: Live at The Penthouse ), Cathy Rocco , Andreas Öberg , Marian Petrescu , Jermaine Landsberger , Toninho Horta , Eddie Daniels and Roger Kellaway ( Just Friends: Live at the Village Vanguard ), Dave Liebman / Joe Lovano ( Compassion: The Music of John Coltrane ), Shirley Horn ( Live at the 4 Queens ), Sarah Vaugan ( Live at Rosy’s ) and Richard Galliano .
