The Prix ​​de la Meilleure Réédition ou du meilleur inédit (2000–2006 Prix ​​Maurice Cullaz ) is a jazz prize that has been awarded by the Académie du Jazz since 1993 to the best republication or most outstanding new release of previously unpublished recordings (from the field of jazz) of the respective year is awarded. The academy had previously awarded productions in this category the Prix ​​Fats Waller , which was awarded to productions of classical and traditional jazz in 1993 and 1994 (until it was discontinued). The jazz critic Maurice Cullaz, who died in 2000, was the temporary namesake of the award (in the early 2000s) .
