Seraincourt is a French village with 1,299 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Val-d'Oise in the region of Ile-de-France ; it belongs to the Arrondissement of Pontoise and the canton of Vauréal (until 2015: canton of Vigny ). The inhabitants are called Seraincourtois .
geography
Seraincourt is located in the Vexin français landscape , about 17 kilometers west of Pontoise and about 39 kilometers northwest of Paris . Seraincourt is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Frémainville in the north, Longuesse in the northeast, Gaillon-sur-Montcient in the east and southeast, Hardricourt in the south and southeast, Mézy-sur-Seine in the south, Oinville-sur-Montcient in the west and southwest and Jambville in the West and northwest. The entire municipality is part of the Vexin français Regional Nature Park .
