Chauvry is a commune with 299 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Val-d'Oise in the region of Ile-de-France . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Pontoise and the Canton of Domont (until 2015: Canton Taverny ). The inhabitants are called Chauvriots .

Chauvry is located about 25 kilometers north-northwest of Paris . Béthemont-la-Forêt is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Villiers-Adam in the north and north-west, Montsoult in the north-east, Baillet-en-France in the east and north-east, Bouffémont in the east and south-east, Saint-Prix in the south, Saint-Leu-la- Forêt in the south and south-west, Taverny in the south-west and Béthemont-la-Forêt in the west.
Route nationale 104 (the so-called Francilienne ) runs through the north of the municipality .
