Saint-Clair-sur-Epte is a French commune with 996 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Val-d'Oise department in the Île-de-France region . The residents call themselves Saint-Clairois or Saint-Clairoises .
geography
The commune of Saint-Clair-sur-Epte is the northernmost commune of the Val-d'Oise department. It is located about 75 kilometers northwest of Paris . It lies on the left bank of the Epte , the Cudron crosses the municipality.
Neighboring municipalities of Saint-Clair-sur-Epte are Boury-en-Vexin in the north, Parnes in the northeast, Hodent in the east, Buhy and Montreuil-sur-Epte in the south, Vexin-sur-Epte with Berthenonville in the southeast, Château-sur- Epte in the southwest and Guerny in the west. Saint-Clair-sur-Epte includes the following hamlets and residential areas : Breuil , Le Héloy , Beaujardin and Le Fayel .
The municipality is part of the Vexin français Regional Nature Park .
