Bruyères-sur-Oise is a French municipality with 4323 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Val-d'Oise in the region of Ile-de-France ; it belongs to the Arrondissement of Pontoise and the canton of L'Isle-Adam . The inhabitants are called Briolin (e) s .
geography
Bruyères-sur-Oise is located about 34 kilometers north of Paris on the right bank of the Oise on the border with the Oise department . Bruyères-sur-Oise is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Morangles in the north, Boran-sur-Oise in the east and northeast, Asnières-sur-Oise in the southeast, Noisy-sur-Oise in the south, Beaumont-sur-Oise in the southwest and Bernes- sur-Oise to the west and north-west.
Part of the Persan-Beaumont airfield is located in the municipality . Until 1967 the airfield was run as Air Force Base 218.
