Us is a municipality with 1,322 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Val-d'Oise department in France . The residents call themselves Ussoises or Ussois .
The municipality of Us is located on the Oise tributary Viosne , twelve kilometers northwest of the city of Pontoise and about 45 kilometers from Paris city center.
Us include the districts of Dampont and Les Closeaux .
Us neighboring municipalities are Santeuil in the north, Frémécourt in the north-east, Ableiges in the south-east, Vigny in the south-west, Théméricourt in the west and Le Perchay in the north-west.
Us has its own train station on the Paris-Saint-Lazare - Gisors-Embranchement ( Transilien ) railway line .
The municipality is part of the Vexin français Regional Nature Park .
