Vigny castle

Vigny is a French village with 1,089 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Val-d'Oise in the region of Ile-de-France ; it belongs to the Arrondissement of Pontoise and the Canton of Vauréal .

geography

The municipality is located in the Vexin français countryside , around 40 kilometers northwest of Paris . Neighboring communities of Vigny are Us in the north, Ableiges in the east, Longuesse in the south and Théméricourt in the west.

The place is on the left bank of the Aubette River . The entire municipality is part of the Vexin français Regional Nature Park .

Vigny is crossed by the D14 département road which leads from the Cergy-Pontoise area towards Magny-en-Vexin .
