The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement of Pontoise and the Canton of Pontoise (until 2015: Canton of La Vallée-du-Sausseron ). The inhabitants are called Génicourtois .

location

Génicourt is located about 32 kilometers north-north-west of Paris in the landscape of the Vexin . The municipality is part of the Vexin français Regional Nature Park . Génicourt is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Grisy-les-Plâtres in the north and north-west, Épiais-Rhus in the north, Livilliers in the east, Osny in the south, Boissy-l'Aillerie in the west and south-west and Cormeilles-en-Vexin in the west and north-west.
