Génicourt-sur-Meuse is a French commune with 290 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Meuse department in the Grand Est region (until 2015: Lorraine ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Verdun , the canton Dieue-sur-Meuse (until 2015: canton Verdun-Est ) and the communal association Communauté de communes Val de Meuse-Voie Sacrée . The inhabitants are called Génicourtois .

Génicourt-sur-Meuse is located about 15 kilometers south-southeast of the city center of Verdun on the Canal de la Meuse . Génicourt-sur-Meuse is surrounded by the neighboring communities Dieue-sur-Meuse in the north, Sommedieue in the northeast, Rupt-en-Woëvre in the east, Ambly-sur-Meuse in the south, Villers-sur-Meuse in the southwest and Les Monthairons in the west and northwest.
