Belleray is a French commune with 508 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Meuse department in the Grand Est region (before 2016: Lorraine ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Verdun , the canton Verdun-2 (until 2015: canton Verdun-Center ) and the community association Communauté d'agglomération du Grand Verdun . The inhabitants are called Bellerois .

geography

Belleray is located about three kilometers south of the city center of Verdun on the Maas (French: Meuse ). Belleray is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Verdun in the north and west, Haudainville in the east, Dugny-sur-Meuse in the south and Landrecourt-Lempire in the southwest.
