Richard Balandras

Richard Balandras (born October 21, 1969 in Clermont-Ferrand ) is a former French racing driver .

Racing career

Richard Balandras began his career in Formula Ford , where he was active in the French championship between 1988 and 1992. He had his best season in 1992 when he finished fifth overall in this championship at the end of the year.

In 1993 he switched to GT and sports car racing and made his debut at the Le Mans 24-hour race . He competed three times in the endurance race in western France. With the 20th place in the first use, he achieved the best placement in the final ranking in 1993 .

In the 2000s he was regularly involved in the French GT championship. In 2005 he was third overall in the local GT Cup. His last active season was in 2013 when he competed in the V de V Michelin Endurance Series .
