Mangiennes is a French commune with 395 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Meuse department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Lorraine ). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Verdun and the Canton of Bouligny (until 2015: Canton of Spincourt ). The inhabitants are called Mangiennois .
geography
Mangiennes is located about 52 kilometers northwest of Metz and about 35 kilometers northeast of Verdun . Mangiennes is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Laurent-sur-Othain in the north, Pillon in the northeast, Billy-sous-Mangiennes in the south and east, Azannes-et-Soumazannes in the south-west, Romagne-sous-les-Côtes in the west and south-west as well Villers-lès-Mangiennes to the west and north-west.
