Cléry-le-Petit is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Doulcon in the north and north-west, Dun-sur-Meuse in the north and north-east, Liny-devant-Dun in the east and south-east, Brieulles-sur-Meuse in the south and Cléry-le-Grand in the West.
