The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Verdun , the canton of Étain (until 2015: canton Fresnes-en-Woëvre ) and the municipal association Territoire de Fresnes-en-Woëvre

Manheulles is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Ville-en-Woëvre in the northeast, Fresnes-en-Woëvre in the southeast, Bonzée in the south, Haudiomont in the west, Ronvaux and Watronville in the northwest and the municipality of Grimaucourt-en in the canton of Belleville-sur-Meuse -Woëvre in the north.

The A4 autoroute runs through the municipality.
