Dannevoux is a French commune with 228 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Meuse department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Lorraine ). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Verdun , to the canton of Clermont-en-Argonne (until 2015: canton of Montfaucon-d'Argonne ) and to the municipal association Le Val Dunois .
geography
Dannevoux is located in the southeast of the Argonne , about 18 kilometers north-northwest of Verdun . The Meuse (French: Meuse ) limits the municipality in the east. Dannevoux is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Vilosnes-Haraumont in the north, Sivry-sur-Meuse in the east and north-east, Consenvoye in the south-east, Gercourt-et-Drillancourt in the south, Septsarges in the west and south-west and Brieulles-sur-Meuse in the west and north-west.
