Murvaux is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Lion-devant-Dun in the north, Mouzay in the north and northeast, Louppy-sur-Loison in the northeast, Brandeville in the east and southeast, Fontaines-Saint-Clair in the south and Milly-sur-Bradon in the west.
