Delut is a French commune with 125 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Meuse department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Lorraine ). It belongs to the arrondissement of Verdun and is part of the canton of Montmédy (until 2015: canton of Damvillers ).

Delut is about 35 kilometers north-northeast of Verdun . Delut is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Jametz in the north and west, Remoiville in the north and northwest, Marville in the north and northeast, Rupt-sur-Othain in the east, Grand-Failly in the east and southeast, Dombras in the south and Vittarville in the south and southwest.
