Julvécourt is a French commune with 57 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Meuse department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Lorraine ). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Verdun and to the Meuse-Voie Sacrée municipal association founded in 2001 .

geography

Julvécourt is located in the Barrois landscape southeast of the Argonne on the Cousances , about 20 kilometers southwest of Verdun . Julvécourt is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Ville-sur-Cousances in the north, Les Souhesmes-Rampont in the northeast, Osches in the southeast, Ippécourt in the south, Lavoye in the southwest and Froidos in the west.
