Romagne-sous-les-Côtes is a French commune with 118 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Meuse department in the Grand Est region ( Lorraine until 2015 ). It belongs to the arrondissement of Verdun and is part of the canton of Montmédy (until 2015: canton of Damvillers ). The inhabitants are called Romagnols .
geography
Romagne-sous-les-Côtes is located about 28 kilometers north-northeast of Verdun . Romagne-sous-les-Côtes is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Merles-sur-Loison in the north, Villers-lès-Mangiennes in the northeast, Mangiennes in the east and northeast, Azannes-et-Soumazannes in the south, Chaumont-devant-Damvillers in the southwest as well Damvillers to the west and northwest.
